Legal minimum wage introduction and on-the-job training in Germany

In January 2015, legal minimum wage law has been introduced in Germany for
the first time in its history. The presentation covers its consequences for
the employer-provided training with respect to different groups of affected
workers. An analysis is being performed in terms of PhD-thesis on the basis
of German Socio-Economic Panel Study, which is one of the biggest European
longitudinal databases. Theoretical framework is embedded into the Human
Capital theory.
